食べるお仕事。
フクヘンという肩書きを持つが、その実態、仕事の主たるは“食べる”ことにある。弊誌の“食”にまつわるページ全般を担当しているゆえ、取材、リサーチ、打ち合わせ、レセプションパーティ……etc.とかく食べる機会に恵まれた環境に身を置く。
食べるお仕事には出逢いがつきもの。実は食べること以上に、この出逢いが私の原動力になっている。EXILIMは、そんな私の脳みそに代わる有能な記録係。メモ代わりにメニューや食材を写したり、感動した料理を撮っておいたり、素敵な出逢いを切り取ったり……。時に、酔っ払ってぶっ飛んだ記憶を、画像を再生しながら蘇らせてもらったり（苦笑）もする。脳内のシワよりも忠実に、“瞬間”を記録しておいてくれるのだから。実に、ありがた～い存在だ。
今回はそんな有能な記録係に収めた「食べるお仕事」の一部を抜粋。最近の感動料理の数々をご紹介します。
NO FOOD！ NO LIFE！ NO EXILIM! NO LIFE！

Eating as a job… I have a title of the associate editor but what I do is to eat. I'm in charge of articles about eating which puts me in the surroundings of food anytime, such as researches, meetings, receptions and so on. This business of eating involves encounters with people. Actually meeting people motivates me rather than eating. EXILIM is my efficient recorder. Taking pictures of menu and ingredients for note, keeping the data of impressive dishes and encounters with people. Sometimes it brings me back the memory I lost when I got drunk. EXILIM keeps “moment” more precisely than brain wrinkles do. It's so invaluable. So this time let me introduce excerpts of my job - eating - stored in my efficient recorder. Enjoy impressive dishes. NO FOOD！ NO LIFE！ NO EXILIM! NO LIFE！
