「小鳥」＋「りんご」＝「コトリンゴ」
1999年、バークリー音楽院に留学し、ジャズ作・編曲/ピアノパフォーマンス科を専 攻。在学中にはピアノデパートメントアチーブメント賞といった数々の賞を受賞。教 会でのクワイヤのレギュラーピアニスト、卒業後はNYで多ジャンルのギグにピアニス トとして出演。
2005年秋より自宅での曲作り／デモテープ作りを始める。翌年3月にJ-WAVE・坂本龍 一のradio sakamotoオーディションコーナーに送った曲が耳にとまり、後に2ndシン グルとなる「にちよ待ち」がオンエア。これをきっけかに、2007年6月に京都、東京 で行われた坂本龍一プロデュース、ロハスクラシックコンサートに出演。
2006年11月、坂本龍一プロデュースによる「こんにちは　またあした」でデビュー。 その後、1stアルバム「songs in the birdcage」、mini album「nemurugirl」をリリー ス。作詞編曲、プログラミングなど、ほぼすべてのトラックを手がけている。圧倒的なピアノ演奏力と童女のようにピュアな歌声、そしてオリジナリティ溢れる才 能には坂本龍一も驚嘆。

Kotoringo is a complex word of kotori (little bird) and ringo (apple). Went the States to study jazz composition and piano performance at Berklee College of Music in 1999. She is the recipient of many awards such as the Piano Department Achievement while in college. Also played for a choir at church and gigs in different genres in New York after graduation. Started songwriting and making demos at home in autumn of 2005. In March of the following year, one of them was noticed in an audition segment of a radio program called RADIO SAKAMOTO hosted by Ryuichi Sakamoto on J-WAVE and then "Nichiyo Machi (Waiting for Sunday)" was on-aired, which was released as her second single later. With it as a start, she appeared LOHAS CLASSIC CONCERT produced by Sakamoto at Kyoto and Tokyo in June 2007. In November 2006, she made her debut with "Konnichiwa Mata Ashita (Hello, See You Tomorrow)" produced by Sakamoto, followed by her first album called "songs in the birdcage" and a mini album "nemurugirl". She works on songwriting and arrangement for almost all tracks. Her overwhelming piano performance, voice with purity like a girl, and originality amazes Sakamoto.

私の初めてのデジカメもEXILIMで、いつも一緒に持ち歩いて色んなところに旅にでましたが、今は充電池が切れていて休憩中です。 ちなみに飼っているうちのコトリは、いつも朝起きるとなぜか真っ先にこの初代EXILIMに挨拶に行きます。 今回の新しいEXILIMは、まず薄さにビックリ。 さらに進化していてクールさが増した感じ。 接写も出来るので特に小動物のペットを飼っている人には嬉しい限りです。 連写機能もあるので、コトリの写真をばしばし撮って、大量なデータの中から一番かわいい一枚を選んだり、親ばかでしかない楽しみ方をしています。 もちろん他にも毎日鞄に入れて持ち歩いて、お仕事の様子などなども撮ってみました。 でもなぜか外では写真を撮る事を忘れがちですが・・・ これからも気軽にばんばん撮っていきたいです。

My first digital camera was EXILIM, too. I used to take it everywhere but now it's unavailable due to battery exhaustion.The first thing my little bird does every morning is somehow to greet the camera.This new one is so thin, more progressed, and also cooler than before.Closeup function is useful especially for people having small animals.Continuous shooting is also available so I take a lot pics of the bird and pick the best one. I'm nothing but a doting mother.I always had it in my bag every day to shoot when I'm working. But somehow I tend to forget to shoot outside.I wanna enjoy shooting in the future.
