パラダイス山元　ハイパーメタボクリエイター

元カーデザイナーのマンボミュージシャン、マン盆栽家元、映画監督、入浴剤ソムリエ、餃子の王様、日本讃岐うどんを愛する会副会長、グリーンランド国際サンタクロース協会公認サンタクロースと、活動は多岐に渡り過ぎ混迷を極めている。
マンボの王様ペレス・プラードより生前に伝授された「アーーーッ、うっ！」の掛け声は、様々な楽曲、CMなどでおなじみ。
1962年北海道札幌市生まれ。日本大学藝術学部美術学科インダストリアルデザイン専攻卒。卒業後、富士重工業 SUBARUデザインセンターに就職。初代レガシィ、SVXなどのスタイリングに携わる。
1983年、デビューアルバム『マンボ天国』で「東京パノラママンボボーイズ」CDデビュー。その後「パラダイス山元と東京ラテンムードデラックス」結成、フジテレビの深夜番組「ラテン専科」に出演。ロンドン、ロサンゼルス、フランス・ニーム美術館でマン盆栽展を開催。映画『盆栽少女』(2008年)で監督デビュー。安斎肇氏率いる工作ユニット「OBANDOS」加入、サマソニに出演(2009年)。
「わたらせ渓谷鐵道」の車両デザインを手がけるまでの熱心な鉄道ファンであったが、マイル獲得修行に目覚めてからは航空機ファンに転身。年間1008回搭乗(2009年)「人間は機内食だけで生きることができる」を実証したミリオンマイラー。会員制餃子店「蔓餃苑」のオーナーシェフでもある。
著書に『ザ・マン盆栽』『ザ・マン盆栽２』(文春文庫PLUS)、『お湯のグランプリ～誰も書けなかった入浴剤文化論』（角川書店）、『餃子のスゝメ』(マガジンハウス刊)、『サンタクロース公式ブック～クリスマスの正しい過ごし方～』(小学館)などがある。
CDに東京パノラママンボボーイズ「TWIN PERFECT COLLECTION」（テイチクエンタテインメント）、パラダイス山元と東京ラテンムードデラックス「TOP10」（ポニーキャニオン）、東京パノラマラウンジ「MAMBO de CHRISTMAS」（ソニーミュージックエンタテインメント）他、「たこやきなんぼマンボ」（NHK・おかあさんといっしょ）、「ピタゴラジョンマーチ」（NHK・ピタゴラスイッチ）など、子ども番組の作詞・作曲も手がける。

His " Aaah-ooh" shout taught by "the Mambo King" Damaso Perez Prado, is well-known for many songs and commercials.
Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1962, and graduated from Industrial Design Course of Nihon University College of Art. Then went into SUBARU Design Center, FUJI HEAVY INDUSTRIES Ltd., to be involved in designing the first Legacy and SVX.
In 1983, he made his debut with the album called "Mambo Tengoku" with Tokyo Panorama Mambo Boys, and then formed "Paradise Yamamoto and his Tokyo Latin Mood Deluxe". They appeared on a mid-night TV program, "Latin Senka" on Fuji Television. He did mambonsai exhibitions in London, Los Angeles, and also in Musee des Beaux-Arts de Nimes in France. He made his debut as a director with a movie called "Bonsai Girl" in 2008. He is the member of Hajime Anzai's OBANDOS, a band playing music with their hand-made instrumentals, and performed at Summer Sonic last year.
He used to be such an ardent fan of railways that he designed train cars of Watarase Keikoku Railway but now he is a that of aircraft after he became a mileage runner. He flew a thousand and eight times a year and got a million miles to prove that you can live only with in-flight meals. He is an owner-chef of MAMGYOEN, a membership gyoza dumplings restaurant.

はじめてデジタルカメラを手にしてから10年、いつのまにやら20台以上のカメラに囲まれています。
HSムービー録画できるカメラはEX-FH100が初めてです。24mmの広角撮影、裏面照射型CMOSセンサーは、機内食の撮影に大活躍。HDムービー録画中にも写真が撮影できるスチルインムービーは、マンボなシャッターチャンスを逃すことがなくうれしい機能です。
レンズ一体型のネオ一眼にひけを取らない高性能で、軽すぎない適度な重さ、グリップのなじみ、ホールド感がとても気に入りました。
今年のGW期間中に撮ったHSムービー、５月フランスへのマイル修行+デンマークで行われた公認サンタクロースの結婚式の模様はスチル+280×720ピクセル、30fpsの高画質HDムービーで撮影しました。

Ten years have passed since I started to use my first digital camera. Now I have twenty cameras. EX-FH100 is the first camera which has high-speed movie function. Its 24mm wide-angle, back-illuminated CMOS image sensor worked for recording in-flight meals. You can take still pictures during recording a HD movie with "Still in Movie," which allows you to have a mambo photo opportunity. It favorably compares with neo single-lens, and has moderate weight, not too light. The grip fits and I like the feeling when I hold the camera. I recorded high-speed movies in Golden Week holidays. The movies of mile-training to France and authorized Santa Claus wedding in Denmark were recorded with still plus 280 x 720 pixels, and high quality HD movie of 30 fps.
