1969年4月30日　札幌生まれ、名古屋育ち。
1989年、vo.鈴木圭介　g.竹安堅一　b.グレートマエカワdr.ミスター小西の４人によって名古屋でフラワーカンパニーズを結成。
1995年５月、アンティノス・レコードよりアルバム『フラカンのフェイクでいこう』でデビュー。
以後６枚のオリジナル・アルバムを発表後、2002年、トラッシュ・レコードに籍を移し、オリジナル・アルバム5枚、ライブ・アルバム2枚、ベスト・アルバム2枚、シングル7枚を発表した。その飾り気のないストレートで奇跡的でもあり感動的なライブ・パフォーマンスと、VOCAL鈴木圭介の赤裸々で笑いと切なさが同居するストイックな歌詞が多くのファンに愛され、日本のロックを語る上で重要なバンドとして、若手バンドのリスペクトを集めている。
11月26日、2年4ヶ月振りのオリジナル・ニュー・アルバム『たましいによろしく』、ニュー・シングル『この胸の中だけ』をSony Music Associated Recordsよりリリース。
同日、初の書き下ろし短編小説『真夜中に会いましょう』を含む、フリーマガジン『JUICE』連載コラム『三十代の爆走』、ロッキング・オン・ジャパン掲載コラム『鈴木けいすけの卑屈王』をまとめた単行本『三十代の爆走』を発売。現在も年間100本近いライブを全国で行っている。

Born on April 30th, 1969 in Sapporo and grew up in Nagoya. In 1989, Flower Companyz was formed by Keisuke Suzuki (vo.), Kenichi Takeyasu (g.), Great Maekawa (b.), and Mr. Konishi (dr.) in Nagoya. In May 1995, they made their debut with an album called "Flakan No Fake De Ikou" from Antinos Records. After releasing six albums, they moved to Trash Records and released five original albums, two live and two best ones, and seven singles. Their plain, straight, marvelous and moving performance and Suzuki's open and stoic lyrics where laughter and heart ache are loved by a lot of fans. Young musicians respect them as an essential band in Japanese rock music scene. After 28 months, on November 26th, they released their latest original album called "Tamashiini Yoroshiku", and a single tune, "Konomuneno Nakadake" from Sony Music Associated Records. On the same day Suzuki's book called "Sanjuudaino Bakusou" was published. The book includes his first short novel "Mayonakani Aimashou", columns "Sanjuudaino Bakusou" he wrote for a free magazine "JUICE", and "Suzuki Keisukeno Hikutsuou" for ROCKIN'ON JAPAN magazine. They perform about a hundred live shows a year.

39歳にして初デジタルカメラ。この手のメカにはめっぽう弱く、携帯の写メもほとんど撮った事がないんですが、これは小さくて簡単。気軽に撮れて、いらなければすぐ消せる。片手で撮れるのがいいなー。
ただパソコンへの入力の仕方とかはまだ全くわからないので、これから少しずつ勉強したいなと…。一年くらいかかるかも…。
今回はツアー中に持って行って、ライブ中のメンバーの顔とか機材とかライブハウスとか撮ってきました。自分で撮ったので基本的に自分は写ってません。自分の写真ってテンションが下がるんですよねー。
今回ちょっとクセになりそうなので、毎回ツアーに持ちこもうと思います。

It's the first digital camera I got at age 39. I'm not good at devices and rarely use camera function of a cell-phone. But this is so small and easy that you can use in one hand. If you don't wanna keep the picture, just don't. But I cannot still move the data to a computer so I think I wanna learn how to do it. It may take a year... This time I took it during the tour and take pictures of the band members and live houses. Basically I'm not in the frame just because that was me who shot. Pictures of me just let me down. I think I sure could get used to this so I take it to every tour.
