僕が生業にしてる音楽や大好きなサッカーと同じく、今まで何億人という人を楽しませてきたであろう写真。

うちの親父のように仕事にする人もいれば、
趣味で子供や友達を撮る人もいる。
そういう万人に受け入れられるものって
本当にすごいと最近つくづく思う。

”ポピュラリティ”とは。
これ、自分の永遠のテーマです。

そんな感じで親父が写真家なので幼少のころから写真と慣れ親んできた自分。
でもこれがいざ撮り始めてみると本当にムズカシイ。

改めて写真の奥深さ、そして父親の偉大さに気付かせてくれました。

Pictures have entertained hundreds of millions of people for years, as well as music, my profession, and soccer, my favorite. Some live on it like my father, some take pictures of their kids and friends for fun. I do think pictures are so great because they are universally-accepted. What is popularity? That's my eternal subject. I'm familiar with pictures since my childhood because my father is a photographer. But once I started, it was not easy. It reminded me of its profundity and my father's greatness.
