3歳でピアノを始め、中学時代は吹奏楽部でフルート、高校時代はバンドでドラムを担当。音楽とともに成長する。同時期にフェンシング県大会2位という意外な経歴を併せ持つ。18歳からはモデルとしてCM・雑誌・コレクション等で活躍。98年ビョークのライブを見て衝撃を受け音楽の道へ転身、その後本格的な音作りへ。
